The Mercedes-Benz W113 was a sports car produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz between 1963 and 1971. The W113 replaced the W111 "Fin" chassis and was the first Mercedes-Benz roadster to be officially called a SL, short for Sport Leicht, or Sport Light. The cars were available as 230SL, 250SL, and 280SL models, with an engine displacement ranging from 2.3 litres to 2.8 litres.
